Displaying number of search results

Hi,

I am trying to write a page in ASP that instead of showing the full search results with contextual results and hyperlinks etc, instead says just:

Knowledgebase
------------------
Results found : 10

I'm guessing I can strip out quite large chunks of search.asp but which bits do I need to display the number of documents found?

This is custom development and we can not give advice to such significant code changes. Perhaps someone else would like to, here in the forums, but we do not generally provide support for customized scripts (otherwise we would be spending all our time debugging everyone elses' code).

But a word of advice, modifying the ASP script is best suited to someone who is knowledgable and experienced with ASP scripting. If you are not sure where the modification should take place, do take note that it is likely you may break functionality and you would need to do some debugging work.
