Filenames appearing in auto-complete (such as canada.htm instead of simply canada)

I am getting filenames in my auto-complete suggestions (see screenshot below).
Any idea what I am doing wrong ?

I don't think this is wrong. It is just a preference.

You can control if file names are indexed from the "Indexing option" window.
If file names are indexed, they they are also suggested for search auto-complete.
