Error writing to searchwords log file due to size?

We are getting an error when doing a search(below) It seems to be due to the size of the current searchwords.log file. It reached 2500K. If I remove and start a new log the error does not occur.
Is there a place to configure the size limit of this log file?
Unable to write to log file (./logs/searchwords.log). Check that you have specified the correct log filename in your Indexer settings and that you have the required file permissions set.

There is no limit on the search words log size in the search engine. While writing a file depends on the operating system and file system in use, 2.5MB isn't a large file, even on really old file systems like FAT32. So size should not be the problem.
