Search not picking up text from a pdf

Search not picking up text from a pdf. The pdf are being indexed but when you search, there are no results.

Check to log to verify if the PDF file was actually indexed without error.

Then check the PDF file in question to make sure it isn't encrypted and does actually contain some text.
