Not exactly.
You can have an image per file extension. e.g. a PDF icon for all PDFs.
Or you can have an image per page (e.g. cat.jpg for cat.html)
But not an single image, for the entire site, that you don't control, which I think is what you are after.
If you think it is an import feature we could offer to implement it as custom software development (at a cost).

Associating an image to a page without the tag?

Bottom line, if you DO NOT control a site there is no way to associate a pattern from the URL in order to add images?
Really?

This page covers all the options for using images in the search results
It is possible to add an image per page if you control the web site(s) in question.

Associating an image to a page without the tag?
I can't figure out, even after reading many times the help file, if this is possible at all:
I want to spider some sites
I would like their logo to be displayed next to each articles that belongs to each one
./thumbs
logo-bestrecipes.jpg
if coming from http://bestrecipes.com/ (pattern)
than display logo of the bestrecipe site next to results
Possible? Maybe in version 7??
Thanks
