You can now index directly on a Linux web server.

Zoom V7 provides a PHP based web interface ("ZoomIndexer.php") to configure your .zcfg file and monitor and start the core indexing engine.
The core engine ("ZoomEngine") is a C++ compiled binary executable. It was compiled on Ubuntu 12.04.1.
As with all Linux applications, there are limitations to cross-distributions compatibility. In the months to come, we hope to increase compatibility where possible. Please let us know if you have had success/trouble running the executable and which distribution/kernel/version you are using.
Also make sure to follow the "Readme.txt" file and specify the permissions as needed.
