  • Problem with a number search

The following search for 5517 returns no results:
    http://www.locksonline.com/search/search.html?zoom_sort=0&zoom_query=5517&zoom_per_p age=10&zoom_and=0&zoom_cat[]=-1

Searching for *5517* does return results:
    http://www.locksonline.com/search/search.html?zoom_sort=0&zoom_query=*5517*&zoom_per _page=10&zoom_and=0&zoom_cat[]=-1

Does anyone know how we can we modify search PHP or configure through the software so that the 1st search above returns the same as the second search above? Many thanks in advance.

On the Languages configuration window there is an option called "sub-string match for all searches". This will mean the script will consider search words that occurs within another word to be considered a match. But we generally don't suggest using this option except for Asian languages as it makes the results less accurate in many cases.
