Can I remove a common word?

    Hi there,
I have a site that I am working on that has products where the name includes the word "Color", but when searching for them the word is being removed due to it being a common word. What can I do about this?

    Cheers,

    Steve

Words are not removed from the index because they are common.

Does this only happen with exact phrase searching (with double quotes) on a large set of index files when you are using the CGI script? If yes, then this is due to search optimization. You can adjust the limit that triggers this behaviour from the "optimization" slider in the "limits" configuration window.

Changing the optimization to default did the trick, it was on Fast Search. Thank you for your help.

Just for your information, its ASP not CGI, and there are 334 files indexed with 7451 unique words, 165953 total words.

      Cheers,

      Steve
