  • display results on a new page

    I have read everything i can find in the FAQ and help so i apologize if i missed this.

    I want to kick off a search on one page and then have the search results display in another web page which i will have formatted to look like the rest of the site.

    I really appreciate everyone's help.

    See these FAQ to add a search box to any page on your site.
    Q. How do I add search boxes to my web pages?
    Q. How do I create search forms with images for buttons, etc.?

    See this FAQ to format the search results page to look like the rest of your site,
    Q. How do I customize the appearance of my search results with CSS?

      Thank you Wrensoft but my question wasn't very explanatory.

      I want a search button at the top of every page (i know how to do that, including the formatting.)

      When someone searches i always want the results to go to a new page (at a location in that page that I somehow specify). That page would look exactly like my other web pages but embedded in the page would be the results returned from Zoom Search.

      Right now Zoom Search always seems to return the results inline.

        When you create a search box, you would be specifying an 'action' for the form. Something like this,

        <form action="/search/search.php" method="get">

        The search.php script, which we provide, is your new page. To make this page look like your other pages, see the FAQ above.
