Hard to be sure from the details provided, but I am guessing that the URLs (the bit your removed) in actually different in the 2 cases.

Note that URLs are case sensitive. So MySite.com isn't the same as mysite.com.

Good guess but no.

I've only put the base URL in once to the settings, then just left it run, and looked at the log files generated by Zoom. The base URL in the logs files is always the same, I trippled checked that before even posting on here.

It ran last night and was fine, so far it's only failed once on this issue.

always used consistent url in any case. It is very sensitive, one wrong character input then your website will be in error and page cannot be display.

Hi.

We have this issue where in the log files sometimes, it will say a document has been skipped due to it being an external site. Log file entry below

01|04/04/12 00:03:11|Skipping http://**removed**/uniPortal/Up/News/selfcert3.doc (External site - does not match base URL)

but then a few hours later it indexes fine.

00|04/04/12 11:52:54|Indexing http://**removed**/uniPortal/Up/News/selfcert3.doc

The base URL is the same, but I have removed it here for security reasons, we are also using Categories.
