multiple domains - reindex one

is this possible?
build an index with multiple domains but on the next run only re-index one of the domains and keep the others as they were in the first run?

also as a variant, can run two separate indexes and later merge them without a full re-index?

Yes you can build an index with multiple domains.
You can also incrementally add new domains to an existing index, without re-indexing domains already in the index.

There is no direct way to re-index just some pages in a set of index files. What you can do is however delete pages, and then re-add them incrementally. Or update the entire index (with only new pages being incrementally added).
