  • Issue with specifying the path to index log file.

    I am running the Zoom Search indexer V6.0 on a different machine (personal machine) than the one (production server) which will have the final set of Web pages and zoom search index files. Thus, I am specifying a path on the production server to save the index log file because when the search is used by customers on the files on the production server, it will write the log on that machine. For example, here's the path on the production server that I am specifying: E:\AppFiles\docs\search_files\logs\indexlog.txt.

    This worked fine in Zoom Search Engine V5, but now that I bought V6 and am trying to do the same, I get the "Invalid Save Index Log Path" error. Apparently, the indexer is looking for the log path on my personal machine and obviously not finding it!

    Can you please tell me how to get this to work?

    Please disregard the above question and this thread.

    I was mistaking the Index Log feature for Search Logging (Advanced Options). Everything works fine and as expected.

    Admin, please feel freee to delete this thread.
