We have a user report that he was occasionally seeing this error when indexing PDF files. Some PDF files index successfully, and only a subset of the PDF files do not index (with this error message in the index log).
It appears that this was caused by some anti-virus or security applications, holding exclusive access to new files created in the Output Folder (where Zoom is writing files to during indexing) as it tries to analyze the files. This behaviour is, frankly, not acceptable, as no anti-virus or security software should prevent files from being created so haphazardly without interferring with the general everyday use of your computer.
According to user reports, Webroot Antivirus is one such application which does this. If you stop Webroot before indexing, the error will not occur.
We will add more to this list as we come across them.
