Hi Ray, I have now created the Index offline (asp) and have uploaded the files on the Server. The Search Takes up to 40 sec. to get an result. On the other Server where I have used the online Mode it takes 3 sec. Any idea? Best wishes Sven

What hardware is in the server?
Is this shared hosting with 100's of web sites on the same server?
Do you have access to the machine to look at load already on the machine (e.g. RAM and disk use).
How big is your index (how many pages / words)?
What are the specs of the other 'good' machine with the 3sec search?
ASP is however slow as a language.
