As the title says after switching server the search page is now blank. I have not changed anything so I am assuming it is a php function not enabled that is causing this?

Hard to be sure without looking at the site and server logs. (There might be some HTML source code on the page, even if nothing is displayed).
I assume you have tested the PHP install on this server and it is working?
It might also be this server side config problem.

here is the php config, sorry should have added it. it is shared hosting so it is limited what i can do.
the search is quite large too with over 13000 pages indexed the "search" folder in 15mb and contains only files from zoom search.
last error logs say
[14-Sep-2010 03:08:40] PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 64 bytes) in /home/dubbinzc/public_html/search/search.php on line 1714Last edited by steveyk; Sep-15-2010, 03:25 AM.
