    Making a file appear as the last Search result

    just wondering if there is a way to set a specific file to be the last search result?

    I have 2 .pdfs with similar names and a lot of similar content. One describes the newly recommended procedure, while the other describes the old way. The old way should be out there, but appear at the end of the Search Results. I have experimented with weighting, but b/c the docs have similar titles, file names, etc., I have not been successful.

    Do you have any suggestions?

    Thank you.

    Make a .desc file for each PDF file. Then use +5 boosting in one document and -5 in the other (or whatever is required to get the effect you want).

    <meta name="ZOOMPAGEBOOST" content="5">

    See also this FAQ on the ranking process.

    And the User's Guide for details about .desc files.
