Please help!! - skipping decimal

Hi,

I have a url like : http://www.abc.com/type-234.5, when this url get indexed by zoom then it gives us url as http://www.abc.com/type-2345.
I checked urllist.txt and in that file all the numbers having dot in it were replaced.

Foreg: in the urllist.txt value for above url is : http://www.abc.com/type-2345

Can you please help me why it is happening.
