Hi!
I want to create a public library of mainly PDF documents. Right now I have about 1000 documents. They are classified in different folders like:
1) hydroponics
2) aquaponics
3) aquaculture
and so on. As the Library is just starting I would like to avoid , for now, to use categories in Zoom. I am changing them too often.
Question:
What will be the easiest way to index a monster Public Library if you add just a couple of documents at a time 3 to 5 times a week?
I was thinking to append a new folder with the date each time I add documents like:
MAIN CAT: hydroponics (folder's name)/2010-02-18 (folder's name inside hydroponics folder)
This way I could tell Zoom to index (online indexing) just "hydroponics/2010-02-18" .
Is this would be the best strategy for incremental indexing in the case of a Public Library or would you have something different in mind?
I just want to avoid right from the start taking the wrong path!
Thanks for any suggestions.
