Sort by Date as Default

Hello. Is there a way to make Sort by Date as the default search result state? Currently, search results are automatically ranked acc. to relevance, and you have to click on Sort by Date link if you want the most recently modified page or document.

I'd like for it to be reversed. The Sort by Date is given priority before Sort by Relevance.

Any inputis appreciate.

You can use the zoom_sort=1 parameter in the URL to set the sort order.

So you can set this as a hidden field in the search form.
