Sort By relevancy

Hi,

Is there a way that we could have sort by relevancy search results would have order by date clause as well??

I would add in the Weightings menu, something that may add weight to a specific fields... Such as "date".

Example : pages older than 6 months may be tagged with a -3 Deboost, while a new fresh article would get a +5 boost ?

Hmm actually i am getting a problem while displaying the results using sort by relevancy that though results are coming right but if i see the dates then they are not in any order so user can get frustrate to find out the result.

You can either sort by date or relevancy. Not both at the same time.

To turn on sorting by date, there is a check box on the "search page" configuration window.
