    Categorise external links

How do you apply a category to an external link?
I wish to index part of my site and an external link; but how do I do it?

In an attempt to get this working I have built an Access database to process the "pageinfo" and "pagedata" information from the "zoom_pageinfo.js" file. This then applies the correct categories, and duplicates some of the links as some external links fit more than one category. However, I can't work out how "zoom_index.js" works?

Is there a nice simple why to categories external links and put them into multiple categories?!

    Cheers,

You can categorize external links using the categories feature by specifying a pattern that matches the URL for the sites. See the User's Guide for details.

You seem to imply that that normal categories feature won't work with external sites. But it does. There should be no need to change our script or write your own database.

      you are right.
I hadn't realised I could use that to do external sites, I was just using it for categorising internal pages.

      Cheers
