  • 2 sites, different behaviour

Firstly I think Zoom is fantastic value for money , but I am having a problem,so help is needed.

I have two sites and as far as I am aware (and I've checked) the configuration settings are the same for both

on http://www.mytherapypractice.com - uploading and highlighting works fine.

on http://www.healthandgoodness.com - when I upload I have to then upload settings.php via Dreamweaver or else there is no search box to search in! Also the highlighting doesn't work at all - I havethe 'words matched in search results' box ticked on the results layout page.

    any help would be appreciated

Zoom has a built in FTP function. So there should be no need to upload some of the search files with Dreamweaver.

In some cases uploading files with Dreamweaver (or other external FTP software) can corrupt the files because you need to upload the files in FTP binary mode, not ASCII mode. Sometimes these external programs get the ASCII / binary mode wrong.

I think (despite your checking) that you don't have highlighting turned on for the 2nd site. Or maybe you didn't re-index and upload the new set of index files after you turned on highlighting?
