  • Re-indexing site without replacing search.asp

    Hi,

Is it possible to re-index a site without reaplcing the search.asp file.

The reason for this is ive added some <hr> tags etc within the search.asp file and do not want this over-ridden each time i re-index the site.

Cheers in advance for your help!!

You might find you could add your <hr> tags to the language file and thus avoid doing a modification to the script. Or maybe even get the same effect using CSS in the search_temaplate.

However if you really need a custom script then use the "Custom script source path" field. Which is on the advanced tab in the Zoom configuration window.

If you wish to use a copy of the search script (search.asp, search.php or search.js) that is located in a different folder besides the one in the Zoom installation directory, then you can change the path here. This is only necessary if you are making modifications to the search script source code, and / or you wish to maintain multiple versions to be used with different sites.

Using this field means your modified script will be uploaded and not the generic script.
