  • Exclude directory but include a few files

I am evaluating the Zoom Search Engine and would like to know if there is a way to enter something like /support in the Skip List but have a few pages in that folder be indexed? There are a lot more pages that should not be indexed than pages to be indexed.

    Thanks.

Rather than exlcuding the entire directory, you could exclude all the files you don't want. But this might mean a fair amount of typing (or cutting and pasting file names) if you have a lot of files.

Or, you could make new sub-directories, e.g. /public-support/ and /private-support/ and then divide up the all the files into either one of these directories. Then you could exclude files just on the directory name.

Or, you could rename the files so that there was an obvious pattern. e.g.
    /Good-file1.html
    /Good-file2.html
    /Bad-file3.html
    /Good-file4.html

Then you could just filter on this pattern. /Bad
