Anyone managed to use CrossOver to install on Linux client?

Hello, we are using Zoomsearch 4.2 and have recently switched all of our machines over to Linux desktops. Has anyone managed to install the Zoomsearch indexer using CrossOver on a Linux desktop? The installation seems to work fine using CrossOver but then we get an error when trying to run the program after installing:
"Error while upacking program, code C. Please report to author."

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

We have never heard of a product called Crossover for Linux. (Excluding the Microsoft Office Crossover product, which is for Microsoft Office only as far as I know).

Do you have a link to Crossover?

Given that we have never tested the Zoom indexer in an environment like this and emulators do a pretty poor job in general, I think it would be a minor miracle if it worked.

For other people reading this. The Zoom script files work fine on Linux and BSD Unix. This only conerns the generation of the index files which is done using the Zoom indexer (which is a Windows application).

Hi, Crossover is designed to let Linux users not only use MS Office but some other Windows software too such as Photoshop, Dreamweaver and even other applications that aren't officially supported.

Just thought it would be great to have Zoom work with Crossover so that we wouldn't need to keep a Windows PC around.
