problem: page number too big. stopping.

    Hi

I'm using the pro version of Zoom in ASP mode. I've indexed 698 pages of my site but when I run the search engine I get the following error message:

problem: page number too big. stopping.

I managed to set things up fine using the trial (max 50 pages) version, before downloading the full version.

I set the maximum pages to scan to 1000, should I have changed anything else as I upgraded?

    Thanks.

As an example search for 'rimmer' at

We believe that this is the same problem as this post,
    http://www.wrensoft.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=36
even though the symptoms are slightly different.

This was a bug in ASP script in build 4.0.1003 of the software. It was corrected in 4.0.1004. Released 7/Jan/2005

Can you download build 1004 from our web site, re-index your site and let us know if you still have the problem.

BTW: You can see a list of changes in each version here,

      Hi

I've now downloaded the build 1004 version, re-indexed and FTP'd and the problem is the same, with same error message!

Are you sure that you uploaded ALL the files to the server in FTP binary mode, (assuming you didn't use the built in FTP function in Zoom). In particular did you re-upload the search.asp script file and the settings.asp file?

If yes, then please create a zip file with all the files that are on your server and E-mail them to us.

        Contact details are here,

Binary! - I've been loading up in ASCII!

The upgrade has fixed the problem - thanks.
