  • Help regarding search - skipping navigation

    Hi

I have a problem with my search engine on my site www.fcbarcelona.dk

Every page on my site has the same index-section on the left side with the links to navigate on the site. The problem is, that if a user uses on of these index-links as search word, the serach engine will display ALL sites on the server as result, because the word is on the navigate-section and the navigate-section is on all sites.

What can I do so the zoom search do not display these links as results, but still follow them so it can gain acces to the rest of the site and search for results?

A very common question that has been answered in the forum many times. For example,
    "Exclude navigation menu"
    http://www.wrensoft.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=430
    Search Results Returning All Pages
    http://www.wrensoft.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=352

It is also answered in the FAQ,
"Q. How do I prevent parts of my webpage from being indexed (eg. navigation menus)?"
    http://www.wrensoft.com/zoom/support....html#zoomstop

and also answered in the Users guide
Page 47, "Skipping sections of a page"
    http://www.wrensoft.com/zoom/usersguide.html

Can posters please at least have a quick look in the users guide and FAQ before posting a question.
