Identifying Differences in similar part numbers

hello,

Is there a way to have the search engine know the difference between
GK-12
and
GK-123

These are 2 separate part numbers yet if you search for a GK-12 the GK-123 page is displayed and often ahead in the results.

I have tried quotes but it makes no difference.

Is there a way when search for GK-12 to not include the results for GK-123??

This is not the default behaviour.

You should only see GK-12 and GK123 matching if you have turned on the "Substring match for all searches" feature. If you turn this option off, then these 2 words should be treated as seperate words.
