  • Meta tag for skipping pages

    Do you have a meta tag code to prevent the spider from indexing certain pages on a site. Very impressed so far!

      Im not looking to prevent partial spidering of content but certain whole pages that are used in i.e iframes on the site but without having to move or seperatly enter in config setup

        The two options presented in the users guide (see previous post) provide a fairly comprehensive mechanism for skipping parts of pages, whole pages, groups of pages and entire directories.

        Although there are other ways that files can be skipped (e.g. having a file extension that doesn't match or exceeding the page count limit), the above 2 methods cover most circumstances.

        Can you give some examples of what you want to do and details as why the existing mechanisms won't work in your situation.
