Rollover hint text?

Hi,
Is there a way to show hint text when a user mouseovers a search result link? Most of the search results from my indexing are PDFs and it would be cool to display the PDF meta-property description when a user rollsover a result link.

I can display the PDF description in the search results but I think the mouseover solution is prefereable in my case.

Having something pop up as a result of a mouse over would require some custom code to insert some Javascript into each search result.
