  • Changing name of search page in settings.zdat

    Hi

Using the cgi version of Zoom 5.1 successfully, just one niggle.

My bespoke search page is search.html

Whenever I re-index the settings.zdat is changed and sets the cgi script to expect search_template.html (in the same directory as all the Zoom data.

Easy to workaround by editing settings.zdat after each re-index, but is there a neater solution, i.e. cause settings.zdat to always point to my selected file name, not necessarily in the directory containing the Zoom data.?

    All the best

    Colin

Don't edit the settings.zdat file. You are only going to cause yourself grief.

The search_template.html file is an internal file. Never seen by the end user. So there should never be any need to give it a new name. Just edit the search_template.html as required to get the look you want.
