pdf search results -- show page #?

I'd like to see an example of a pdf search and highlighting.

I need to know if the search results can show the page number in the pdf.

Also, with the pdf search word highlighting, when you open the pdf file that's in the search result listing, does it take you to the highlighted words?

Search results don't (and can't) show PDF page numbers.

The behaviour of Adobe reader varies between versions, but in later versions, you get search word matches (and their context) being displayed in a seach pane to the left of the document.

As highlighting in PDFs is a feature of Adove reader you can see this working even without Zoom. Just enter in a URL like this into your browser to a local PDF file.
