Mouse cursor not working in search box?

Hi,

I've got a custom search box on this page:

Entering text works fine, as does the backspace key if the user wishes to change their search text... but trying to use a mouse to highlight a part of the text in the search box does not work... any ideas?

Ok... I must have tweaked the code at some point initially... got it back working properly now.
