Characters problem in v 4.2

Hello Wrensoft,
We're getting wrong characters appearing for "special characters" on our implementation of ZoomSearch, help?

I've read up on the forum and found that we need to have our pages, our Results page, and our SearchForms, AND the ZoomSearch config set to the same charset. They are currently all set to iso-8859-1.

will show a variety of errors in the three results, and some correct diacriticals!

We don't really support V4.x anymore. The version you are using is from 2005. We also don't support customised versions of our scripts.

There have been a lot of changes between V4.2 and V5.1 including better support for international character sets.

So maybe you can install V5 of Zoom in a new folder without editing our script and verify that the behaviour is the same and then we can look at the problem in more detail.
