  • Upgrade Procedure?

    I have version 5.0 build 1004, professional edition which I purchased in December 2007 and noticed there is a 5.1 upgrade. I downloaded the upgrade but notice I now have 2 versions of Zoom on my system. Should I uninstall the previous version? Will my configuration files be saved or should I move these? Will the newer version automatically recognize my license or will I need to re enter?

    Your help would be appreciated.

    If you install the new version into a different directory you will end up with 2 installs of the software.

    Yes you can delete the old version if you want.

    If you are not using the default configuration file (i.e. you did a Save Configuration As.. ), then your configuration files will never be overwritten.

    The license key will be picked up automatically.
