I was reading in the FAQs about distributing the search files on a CD/DVD, and have a question. Here is the text from the FAQ:
"You can also distribute the search files generated by the Indexer on an unlimited number of CDs and DVDs. There are no royalty fees for distributing the search files generated. However, you must retain the copyright information within the search scripts."
Does this mean we only need to retain the "© Wrensoft 2000-2007" within the search files - like in the search.js file for example? I am wondering if we can remove the "Search powered by Zoom Search Engine" from our search.html page? We translate our documents into 17 languages, and if we can steer away from having to get this translated for the results pages it would be one less headache.
Thanks for any responses.
