can you set an expiration on a CD search/index?

One of my co-workers is thinking of using zoom search on one of our other products to index files on a CD.

The current SW he uses to do this allows him to set an expiration on the content, so that when we release a new CD the user sees a message stating the content is out-of-date and should not be used. (we are in the medical industry where this is important)

Does zoom search provide this feature in any fashion? Thanks for your time.

The search engine doesn't have these feature. But I would think that the search engine isn't the right pace to have this warning. Surely having the warning on the page itself would make more sense. In case they browse to the document, not search for it.

I think this could be done with 2 of 3 lines of Javascript code.
