search bar post search query

Is there a way to code a search bar, so it posts the search query and opens up the search results page?

I have the latest version - i can get everything else working

We suggest using the GET method instead of POST.

Using POST will cause problems in areas like the page navigation (the Next / Previous page links in the search results)
