only show the first 1000 matches

Can this software be programmed to only show the first 1000 matched search results like google does, so spiders won't be able to easily download entire contents of my website?

From memory the CGI script limits itself to 1000 results. The CGI supports up to 1,000,000 pages so it needs to be more optimised than the other scripts and limits ranking to 1000 pages.

But,
1) Spider aren't going to be executing the search function in any case. Spiders aren't going to know what key words to enter into the search box, and so the Zoom search results won't be index by 3rd party spiders

2) Only showing 1000 results doesn't protect your site from download in any meaningful way.
