  • no results on Japanese site!

Using the free version on my Japanese site.
Seems to be running fine but 100% of searches turn up No Result!
Is this normal ,can this result be expected ?

Can you give us the link to your site, so that we can take a look?

I can only get "recommended links" to work.
Each page has a lead-in parargraph designed with search engine in mind.
Would be great if you have time look at this...it is all in Japanese though!

          Search words I've used; サイトマップ(sitemap)、関東(kanto)、
関西近辺専門店(kansai area specialist). These words all appear in first paragraph of each appropriate page.

          Cheers.

I think the problem is not with the search itself.

I think the problem was with the indexing. After looking at your site I can see that you only managed to index a single page. And the text on that page was only 5 words, "This page requires frames". So it is normal that you can't find any of the words you searched for. (try searching for the word "frames" however, and you'll see 1 result).

When you were indexing you site your should have noticed that it only indexed a single page and suspected something was wrong?

I just tried indexing your site with pretty much the default settings and it worked OK for me. What settings did you use in the indexer, as they are surely wrong?
