Incremental update in offline mode

Is it possible to do an incremental update in offline mode?
If not, are their any plans to implement this?

Incremental indexing is not available in offline mode.

Offline mode indexing does not use any Internet traffic and it is many times quicker than spider mode, so incremental indexing is much less necessary, and we would recommend a full re-index for offline mode users. There are also some technical issues, concerning the base URL, that make it hard to implement.

You can however at new folders and files to an existing offline index.
