  • Search pulls data from wrong place

    I am running a test at: http://www.thebicyclesite.com/searchengine/search.php

My data is in SQL tables.

If I enter the phrase "climb hill" without the quotes and select All words, I get the list below.

None of them are exactly right, and only #3 comes close.

The proper link should be:http://www.thebicyclesite.com/databases/bikearticleslist.php?psearch=climb+hill&Submit=Sea rch%A0%28*%29&psearchtype=AND

Is this a just a limit of Zoomsearch?

Could you explain why you think they are not "exactly right"? And why you think #3 is close and the others are not?

The results look OK to me. At least they look OK considering your site is very poor from a SEO point of view.
    1. You have the same title on all pages.
    2. You have the same meta keywords on all pages
    3. You have the same meta description on all pages
    4. You have Javascript errors on many pages
    5. You have the same content on many pages (your large header and footer). You should filter this out from indexing.
    6. Your header and footer (which are on every page) contain the words you are looking for.
    7. Your prefered "page" is not actually a page on your site. It is a set of results from SQL which you can only see after (a human) types into some keywords into the SQL query form. You can't see this page by just browsing your site.

      Thank you.
I totally forgot about the footer.
I will exclude that from the search.
