Context description dimmed out in config

    Hi!

I just downloaded your product and am experimenting with it... My first question is this: why is the context description option in the search results layout section of the configuration dimmed out? Is this because I am running the free / eval version, as opposed to Standard / Professional / Enterprise edition? I saw no mention of this in the "Which edition?" page of your web site, but then again maybe I was not "reading between the lines" of the table on that page...

I noticed this because my first attempt at generating a search page resulted in no context information being displayed in the search results... just the page title, description, and "Terms matched..." line. I am considering using your product as a replacement for the built-in search capability of a wiki my organization is using, precisely because it does not highlight the search terms in context for each search result item...

    Thanks,

    Rimas

The context description option might be dimmed out becuase you selected the Javascript scripting option. Javascript isn't a very powerful programming language and is very resource limited. As a result the context description option is not available. Switch to ASP, PHP or CGI and it should be available.

      Hi!

That is precisely what my problem was... I was using the JavaScript option as I was first playing around with your product since that was the easiest way to do so. I went back and switched over to CGI, and now the context description option is enabled...

      Thanks,

      Rimas
