    Allow searchwords.log

I know I'm probably in the wrong section, but I cannot for the life of me get IIS 6 to recognize that searchwords.log is a valid file to download. I keep getting 404 errors even though I have added it to the MIME types list. Has anyone else run into this?

I have searched for close to an hour (and some yesterday) and I'm just missing somethings. Can anyone help?

    Thanks in advance!
    -Greg

PS I cannot find urlscan.ini, so I'm assuming that URL SCAN is not installed.

IIS is a terrible piece of software to configure things like file permissions and MIME types.

The quick solution might be to rename the file to .txt.

I renamed it and now nothing is being logged.

      This is what I did.

      1. Renamed in Zoom
      2. Renamed in explorer
      3. Re-indexed

      Any clues?

Nevermind it looks like it defaulted back to ..\logs\searchlogs.txt instead of my path. Once I changed it, it works now.
