    Excluding sections of external sites

Hello, i have read all the theads on ingnoring parts of webpages, like the header or nav.

However i need to index sites that i have no control over. Is there any way of doing the same without adding tags to the site? maybe by pattern matching part of the pages?

    Thanks

There are several ways to filter entire pages when indexing external sites, but there is no way to exclude a section of an external page you don't control.

As you pointed out, if the page was on your site, you can add tags to filter out part of the page.

hmm, well, how about removing one instance of a bunch of words from all pages in the index? is anything like that possible?
