search.ASP code displaying instead of search

I have copied the relevant files to my site and insterted the scrept which sows the search field, having replaced the "search" with the "search.asp" that was saved as a result of my crawl and when I type in a search term it just tales me to a page where the code from the "search.asp" file is displayed without actually performing the search.

Can anyone help me ?

If you are seeing ASP code, then it is 99% sure that ASP is not correctly installed on you server.

Contact yur hosting company and ask if they have ASP (or PHP) running on your server.
