  • Scheduling and FTP

I would like to schedule Zoom Search to reindex my Web site nightly. I just did a test schedule and it started the indexer automatically but it did not FTP the files to the server. When I opened the indexer to use the FTP tool to upload the files, I received a message that "No files to upload. You must index your site first." Is there a way to automatically ftp the new files? If I have to do it manually, how can I use the Zoom FTP tool after a scheduled reindex?

If there is a way of automatic FTPing after a scheduled reindexing, can it be set to upload to two servers. We have load balancing between two linux servers.

    Thanks for your help.

The FTP upload can be part of the scheduled job. In the Zoom configuration window you need to check the box called, "Automatically upload files...". And enter in your FTP login details.

After making this change you then need to re-save your configuration file.

This feature only allows uploading to 1 server (not 2). Can you schedule a rcp -- remote file copy via a cron job between the Linux machines?
