    cgi and iis

    I did what the instructions said to do for cgi and iis but when I go to change the search.cgi to 755 it wont stay that way?

    Getting the CGI running on later versions of IIS can be tricky. If you are unsure of how IIS and Windows file permissions work, you might be better off trying the ASP script instead.

    The 755 permission setting is octal notation for a particular set of Unix/Linux file permissions. And does not really apply to a Windows machine.

      We have over the asp limit to search so I have to use the cgi

        got it to work

        thanks for the help, I got it to work using .exe, when do you think the new version will be out. I need to build a index for a www.entertainmentmonster.com and ther will be 500,000 products.
