  • Back button unavailable in IE

I just discovered a weird problem in Internet Explorer 6.0 with my Zoom results. When I click through multiple pages of results, I can't use IE's Back button to return to the previous page of results that I viewed. (The button is grayed out.) The only way I get back to the previous page of results is to click the number of the previous page in the results list.

The search page is relatively straightforward; it's displayed in a secondary browser window, and the results, when clicked, open in the main browser window. I can't see why this setup would affect the browser's Back button, though.

One more thing: the Back button appears fine in Firefox.

Any ideas out there? Thanks for your help!

There is normally no problem with the back button & no one else has reported an issue like this before. So I am guessing it is either a result of your use of two IE windows or some configuration setting you have in IE. Hard to know which without seeing the page in question.

It is not unusual to see different behaviour in FireFox and IE. We see this all the time on various web pages.
