In V5, under the "Index Log" tab of the Configuration window, there are now additional settings to specify the location of the index log to be saved (for scheduled tasks) as well as the option of a debug log (previously only available as a command-line parameter) which writes out to disk per log entry (thus slowing down indexing, but can be useful for narrowing down crash bugs etc.)
The scrolling and progress bars should now also be smoother when drawn to the screen in the log window.
Zoom now also does broken link detection (also know as a 404 page not found error).
To turn on this link checking feature you need ensure the 'broken links" check box is checked in the configuration window.
Then when Zoom encounters a broken link you will see the following entries in the Zoom log.
Zoom will list the page the broken link was found on (in orange) and the link itself (in red).
This means in a single 'spidering' of your web site you can generate a site map and a search engine index plus check for broken links.
